Italian Gold Scale-Link Bracelet

From the jewels of an Italian Contessa, 18ct gold, circa 1970s

A wide, supple band of polished crescent links, set in staggered rows like overlapping scales, so that the bracelet moves and catches the light with every turn of the wrist. Concealed box clasp with two safety catches. Stamped 750 for 18ct gold, with Italian maker's mark N1292.

An Italian noble family; bequeathed by the Contessa to the present owner. Family jewellery, offered for sale for the first time.
