A pair of Indian bone-inlay wall mirrors

A pair of rectangular wall mirrors in the Indian bone-inlay tradition. Each frame is worked with a continuous pattern of trailing vines, leaves and open flowers in bone, set into a soft grey ground and edged with jointed bone strips. Every leaf and petal is cut and fitted by hand, so the two mirrors differ slightly in the run of their vines. They make a matched pair for either side of a bed, a fireplace or a doorway. Minor irregularities in the inlay, as made. Offered as a pair,with delivery included in the Isle of Man and UK, available elsewhere by arrangement; collection from Aspen House also welcome.
