Charisma Eggplant Perfume Pendant

A perfume pendant in the form of an eggplant, the deep purple glass body formed as the bottle, the gold-tone cap modelled as a veined calyx. Suspended from a fine gold-tone chain of about 70 cm with a spring-ring clasp. It follows Avon's Charisma eggplant bottle of 1972, sold as a collectable pendant for one of the firm's popular scents of the early 1970s. The purple glass bottle is still full of its original perfume, the gold-tone calyx cap in place.

Avon offered the Charisma eggplant perfume pendant in 1972, on a gold-tone chain of about 24 to 28 inches. This example is unmarked. The identification is by the form of the bottle, the calyx cap and the chain.
